Reunion of Clermont County Veterans at Williamsburg 1888
The Clermont County Veterans Association held its first encampment in Goshen on October 14 1888 drawing large crowds from Newtonsville Milford Loveland and Williamsburg. A parade church services and a banquet followed with veterans from multiple posts and a 24 member young girls delegation contributing to the day. Elected officers included E B Holmes as president and James Hartman as secretary with bylaw drafting to follow.
