At a Union Township zoning hearing last Wednesday opposing a proposed rezoning on Shaylor Road, D Gerald Lach and Eugene Ruehlmann urged against changing from high density to lower density R-1. The plan targets 400 acres along Shaylor Clough Pike near Mc Mann Road, a long-standing B-3 and B-2 eight area, and would affect land not used for current classifications.

ODOT to study need for traffic light at SR 125 area
The Ohio Department of Transportation will study the need for a traffic signal at SR 125 Britton Blvd and Mt. Moriah Drive. A October 20 study follows a meeting with county commissioners Union ip trustees and about 160 residents. An eastbound two car crash delayed traffic Friday. Commissioner Wiesenhahn said cost sharing with township trustees for land and new asphalt will be arranged. Mt Moriah Drive is county, Britton Blvd township.
