Clermont County officials resignation reshapes hospital, county roles

Kermit Poor of Williamsburg, now residing in Boynton Beach Florida, plans to split time between Ohio and Florida and resigns from the county hospital commission after 17 years as chairman. He endorses Frances Wilson as new hospital commission chair and Bob Croswell for a forthcoming vacancy while remaining as chairman of the Clermont Mercy Hospital board. He also resigns as Jene Galvin's campaign chairman but will chair the county communications committee. Jo Ann Schlunt resigns as House of Peace shelter coordinator. Juanita Teeters named new coordinator. Clermont YWCA House of Peace refurbishment open house highlighted by new sidewalk and shrubs. Citizens are invited to suggest non-prison alternatives for non-violent criminals.

Shelter aid push as domestic violence harms women nationwide
