Clermont County Auditor says church officials must file to obtain tax relief with the county auditor by December 31, 1972. Failure to file means no exemption. Auditor Stumpf notes applications this year can cover 1972, a special dispensation attached to the ruling.

The Clermont Northeastern Board of Education urges support for a 1.9 mill levy renewal on the November 7 ballot. Board members say the renewal is essential to continue quality programs, noting the district currently has one of the county's lower operating millages.
Clermont County residents plan to qualify as leasors of 11 acres of the old Pinkham Farm near Bantam now owned by the U S Army Corps of Engineers. The group seeks salvage and restoration of historic farm buildings including those tied to Capt Andrew Pinkham. Salvage rights can be purchased for 10000.
