George Maple, brother in law to Eph Sellers and uncle to Chester Maple, injured at his Avondale home pulling off a boot. The leg broke at the knee in a rare accident likely to curb him all winter. Sellers confirms the account. Maple, under fifty, may have brittle bones or disease. He hails from the Independent neighborhood near Ft. Ancient.
