Navy Recruiting Campaign and Wheat Payment Revisions

The Courier announces a Navy Recruiting campaign to recruit young men for naval duty during the national emergency. It also notes a 2.5 cent per bushel increase in 1942 AA wheat conservation payments, with 10.5 cents paid for those who seed within their allotments, and outlines other 1942 rates and soil-building requirements. The paper introduces a Navy Editors Board to handle inquiries and promotes the booklet Life in the Navy to potential enlistees and their parents.
