Clermont County Approves Sewer Rules Rewrite Contract

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners voted 2 to 1 on November 7 to hire B B S Ltd a Blue Ridge engineering firm to assist the county sanitary engineer in revising the county sewer district rules. Charles Clendenin dissented. The firm will upgrade the system and prepare permit and construction procedures in a public 8 by 11 format for a fee. Powell said the outside firm avoids local fee bias. Conty Ralph Palmer requested a rate increase for area nine pending commissioners’ approval.
