Bethel sewer plans delayed by EPA funding and guidelines

Assistant Sanitation Engineer John Messick reports two obstacles to the Bethel sewer project. 136 Acres to be Sold for Delinquent Taxes in Clermont County

About 136 acres across 13 parcels in Clermont County will be sold at auction to recover roughly 100000 in delinquent taxes. Parcels lie in Williamsville Bethel and Batavia with Ohio 32 crossing the land. Sheriff John Van Camp will conduct the sale once a date is set, using county computer lists for the first time to compile delinquent properties.

Veterans Day Parade in Batavia Sets Nov 11 Start

Batavia hosts a Veterans Day Parade on November 11 with a 7 p.m. start near Krogers and a 6 p.m. lineup. Guest speaker Brooks A. Parsons, former Norwood Schools superintendent, and WWII veteran will attend. The event features a high school band competition judged by Dr. Robert Hornyak and Dr. Warren George.
