Edwin Evanshine Dies in Mt Pisgah Ohio
Edwin Evanshine a long time Mt. Pisgah resident died early October 22 after a brief illness. A Civil War veteran at sixteen, he joined the G. A. R. and attended encampments. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah M. E. Church and cherished his faith. The funeral was held October 26 at 2 pm at Mt. Pisgah M. E. Church, with burial in the local cemetery.

Milford Garage Burglary Strikes Shumard Co on Mill Street
Thieves broke into the Shumard Motor Co garage on Mill street Sunday night. They entered via a west window and unlocked the storage room door by a cut panel. Only a few pennies a revolver and a flashlight were taken and a safe was blown. no clues have been found to identify suspects.

Peebles Store Robbed in $1000 Goods Thefts
Police and sheriffs within 100 miles of Peebles are asked to watch for three strangers seen near the Louis Kirschner clothing store on Main Street who broke in Saturday night and fled with $1000 worth of men's suits overcoats ladies coats sweaters and other merchandise. Entrance was by smashing a back window and some loot was dropped in the yard behind the store. A truck was sighted earlier in the day and residents heard a machine at the scene that night.

A G A R member and Mt Pisgah M B Church attendee married Viola Lewis and had four children two predeceased him with one daughter surviving.
