United Appeal Exceeds Goal Across Five Counties
The five county United Appeal surpassed its goal for the seventh straight year with Clermont County reaching 100.5 percent of its goal of 41 147 to George H Day of Milford. A district by district breakdown lists chairmen and amounts with most districts well over target. Division leaders reported a total of 6 744 225 raised, $78 625 over quota, at a Cincinnati victory dinner.

A 17 year old boy from Corbin Kentucky is held in Batavia juvenile quarters facing 315 dollars in bad checks passed Friday and Saturday at the county seat. He is also wanted on two counts of petit larceny in Fairfax. He told Police Chief Colonel that only one place refused to cash the checks.
