Township Trustees OK Cemetery Price Hikes
The Union Township trustees approve new cemetery price scales effective June 19 with resident and non resident rates for single and half and full lots. Digging costs rise to 80 dollars. They authorize 150 dollars to update the zoning map and a new siren for the 1972 cruiser. Expenditures for April total 17 458 26 with funds divided among Cemetery Police Road General and cruiser. They move to advertise township hall air conditioning and note SR 32 Old 74 intersection repaint will include left turn arrows.

Lady Finds Gentle Rank After Shelter Makeover
A Clermont County Shelter dog named Lady arrived in a dirty tangled state and was cleaned up by Karen Ell who believes she has watchdog potential. The shelter urges owners to leave information with dogs when abandoning them as missing background hinders future homes. Judy Edwards, a Batavia High senior and Charlotte R.
