Colonel Marcellus J W Holter a Civil War veteran aged 80 died at his son Frank Holter's Summerside home after a long illness. He served in the 59th O V I and 195th C V I, earned a brevet brigadier general title, and was auditor of Clermont County. Funeral Friday at Olive Branch M E Church with Rev Colledge officiating. He leaves a daughter Stella and two sons Frank and Wright.

Pleads Guilty in Miamiville Burglary Case
Robert Patton indicted by the grand jury for entering a dwelling near Miamiville in the absence of the family and stealing food. He pled guilty before Judge Tarbell, received a $60 fine, a coat, and three months in the Cincinnati work house. Batavian Performs Successful Kidney Operation
