He arrived on the 10th grew increasingly disturbed by the 12th and violent by the 18th, then lapsed into unconsciousness until yesterday morning when he died. Tragic Drowning at South Milford Silver Hook Outing
The Silver Hook Fishing club suffered two drownings when a small boat capsized on the Miami river near South Milford during the club’s first outing and dedication of a new clubhouse. Edward Lotz and Albert Heyne, both club members, drowned. only Lotz’s wife witnessed part of the tragedy as rescuers arrived hours later, with Heyne still missing. Heyne lived at Euclid Avenue and Molitor Street. Lotz ran a Vine and Molitor streets saloon.
