Robberies Reported in Batavia and Williams Corner

Saturday night police said Charles Whitmer reported $50 in cash and checks stolen from the W I trucking garage in Batavia while more than $100 was left behind. Daly's Tavern at Williams Corner saw about $155 stolen from cigarette machines and jukebox and pinball machines. Sheriff Dericks and Deputy Skinner investigated the tavern robbery, with Ettavia Police Chief By Colonel probing the garage loot.
