A Batavia assembled Hill district party of Goshen Marathon Newtonville Owensville Edenton and Batavia lodges marked Odd Fellowship in America 79th anniversary with a day of dinners, speeches, music and drills. 225 diners enjoyed a lavish spread, followed by welcome by G W Hulick and response by E B Holmes. Officers elected: President J M Davidson secretary J J Holden treasurer E B Holmes. Next session at Williamsburg April 26, 1899. Assessments totaled 23.10.

Veteran Soldier Thompson Doughty Rescued After River Plunge
