Vandercook College Concert Band to perform at Glen Este High
On Friday March 28 the Vandercook College Concert Band from Chicago will headline at Glen Este High School Cafetorium starting 8:00 p.m. It opens a spring tour through Tennessee Georgia and Florida with Leroy Anderson Sousa and Dixieland selections plus a Madrigal and Jazz Band performances. Clermont County to run summer programs with CETA staff
The Clermont County Recreation Commission approved using CETA workers for the summer playgrounds while uncertain about Carolyn Mapes’s future as recreation director. Supervisors must be professional, each responsible for about 60 children at 14 sites, with supervisors paid $5.50 for a 20 hour week, and the softball league already organized and self supporting except for field maintenance.

Lawsuit Seeks Blame Over Milford Main Street Collapse
Nellie M. Conover files a declaratory judgment and injunctive relief against the Village of Milford in Clermont County Common Pleas Court over a retaining wall collapse and damaged sidewalk on Main Street. Complaint dated March 18 and served March 19 to village manager Harry Hodges. The land involved covers lots 80 81 and 82 fronting on Street and abutting plaintiff property. Conover argues the failure caused the sidewalk damage and seeks relief.
