Rt 125 Contract for Hamilton Side To Be Sold Soon
The Ohio Department of Highways announced plans to sell the widening project on State Route 125 in southeastern Hamilton County this month. Bids will be opened March 18 in Columbus for a 3.6 mile, four lane asphalt highway from Cincinnati city limits to the Hamilton Clermont line, with 50 foot total width and precast dividers. Estimated cost is $2 million with a target completion in November 1958. Clermont County work resumes April 1, led by contractor Don Cisley Hamilton. Remaining to be completed is a 5.5 mile section.

Bethel Man Faces Charge Over Cold Check Payment
James Hunnicutt, 37, of Bethel, jailed in Clermont County on a charge he gave a cold check to County Judge Nellie Mattox to pay $10.75 court costs. He appeared on assault and battery charges filed by his wife, Mrs. Freda Hunnicutt, operator of the Morris Rest Home. A fine of $100 and sentence were expected.
