A cable from the American Minister in Germany dated March 8 1895 identifies the drowned Eugene Rhodes found ashore at Gravesend England by a ring bearing his mother's name. The remains may be interred beside his father in Cincinnati per heirs guidance. Mrs Rhodes’ possibly lost body would not affect ownership of the estate.
A lone gunman shot at Henry Dickinson in Newtown last Monday night, ripping clothing but causing no other injuries. Blood hounds from Britton tracked the suspect Tuesday, but no capture had been reported as the hunt continued.
