Clermont Health Board gains new members and funds boost
The Clermont County Advisory Health Council named six mayors and 12 township chairmen to the District Board of Health for the coming year. New members include J. W. Smith, Harry Dan ner, and Hawley Todd. The council approved a plan to place a small levy on the November ballot to fund operations, with a Board of Health meeting scheduled for March 19 to organize the new board. State Auditor Rhodes distributed 41 million in school foundation funds, with Clermont districts receiving 410,574.09 in total, distributed among Batavia, Bethel, Clermont Northeastern, Edenton, Felicity, Goshen, Monroe, Moscow, West Clermont, Williamsburg, Milford, and New Richmond.
