Milacron Abatement Plan Defeated by County Board Vote
By Fran Schwiermann a 4-3 vote of the Tax Abatement Policy Board last Thursday opposed recommending to county commissioners that Milacron receive tax abatement. Milacron sought to add 130 acres in Area 1 near Ford to include Half Acre Road. Board members noted prior approvals and legal limits on abatements, with Milacron arguing parity with Ford and Plainville Concrete.
