Plucky Clermont Teachers Session Amid Winter Storm
The Clermont County Association held a large meeting at City Hall despite a severe winter storm. Noted speakers included Professor C. E. McVay, Dr. John B. Peaslee, and Dr. Thomas W. Harvey. Minister's Powerful Revival At Burdsall Chapel
In December 1886 a revival led by Rev. T. W. Williamson of the M. E. church drew crowded crowds from Marathon Greenberry and Jackson township. Two hundred accessions and broad neighborhood conversions followed as Williamson, a Parkersburg native recently in Clermont county, impressed with earnest preaching and strong oratory that moved many to repentance. He remains young and well liked.
