General Rules for Clermont County Society Premiums
Clermont county citizens may join. outsiders may enter for premiums with a 26 percent payment. Entries must be owned by the entrant or a family member. agents require signed authorizations. Soil crops must be Clermont county produced. Two disinterested certificates required for crop grounds. soil, seed, and cultivation details must be presented. Only one premium per animal or article. defective entries get no premium. Members paying one dollar may exhibit freely. multiple premiums incur deductions. Entries must be on official books with cards issued. Entries should be presented on or before entry days. Field crops require statements by the first Monday in November. Out-of-county premiums paid last day of the fair. others when books and lists are prepared. Current volumes for 1860.
