Sewer line work continues for Goshen Township project
Clermont County commissioners amended the O Bannon Creek sewer plan adding for on site treatment feasibility and other changes. Santoro Engineering would prepare an amended facilities plan not to exceed 38000 dollars. An industrial wastewater pretreatment program costs 67200 dollars with 751 of total cost to be reimbursed by Ohio EPA.

CECOS wells tainted according to OEPA
Jackson Township reports that fewer than 10 of more than 100 groundwater monitoring wells at the CECOS International landfill site yield adequate data. OEPA inspector Strachen cites cement debris and grout issues, odor in samples, and incorrect sealing as causes of contamination readings while planning phase one completion and discussion of replacement wells with CECOS USEPA and OEPA participation.

The test, Oct 10 and 11, covers four parts. fee is 50 dollars for all parts or 40 dollars for those taking fewer than four. Pay checks to IRS.
