The Transient Boat Harbor at river mile 471R upriver of Suspension Bridge is now open 24 hours for recreational boaters. Operated by the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, it offers docks for boats 18 feet and under at 60 cents an hour up to $4 in 24 hours, 18 to 26 feet at 76 cents an hour up to $86, and over 26 feet at $1.26 an hour up to $10.

Attorney hired for mandamus in Clermont County
Kenneth J. Schneider of Wood and Lamping in Cincinnati begins work for Clermont County officials defending against a mandamus suit for more salary fund money filed in the 12th District Court of Appeals by prosecutor George E. Pattison. Commission president Jerry R. McBride says all three commissioners approved one day to hire Schneider but Charles E. Clendenin opposed the rate as excessive.
