Suit seeks 10 million over bar owner in fatal crash
In Clermont County Court Patricia Arthon sues Parker's Pub owner Jack Holden for 5 million dollars in compensatory and 5 million in punitive damages plus her husband and six children, claiming the bartender knew of a patron's drinking and still served him before the March 7 1983 crash that killed her 16 year old daughter Bernadette Arthon. The Ohio Supreme Court ruling on Dram Shop acts addressing a similar death was cited as potential precedent.
