Clermont county plans to apply to the federal government for 65000 to repair and replace flood damage from the recent high water. Jacob Gadomsky a 69 year old interior decorator died at his home on Price Hill on June 9 and was buried June 12. His wife 70 died last Thursday and was buried Monday. They were well known in Cincinnati and parents of Mrs. Robert Roberts of Batavia. Mrs Roberts and family receive many sympathies.

Theft charges after beef theft in Marathon farm incident
Sheriff Steve Miller and Deputy Sheriff Thomas Brooks arrested Ben Waits and son John, Dora Slater, and Raymond Varney Sunday for stealing a beef from Joe Woodwood in Marathon. The beef was killed in a pasture and quarters taken to a house. they were jailed in Brown County. A hearing was held Monday.

Auto Victim: Pt Pleasant man injured in highway crash
Gaylord Vandeveer, 21, of Pt Pleasant, was seriously injured when his car collided with a Streetman bread truck on the A and P highway near Pt Pleasant Monday morning.
