Fatal accident ends life of German farmer Henry Wacker
Henry Wacker of Afton, a heavyset German farmer, was kicked by a three year old colt and died instantly Thursday afternoon. He collapsed after dinner while in the stable, suffered severe stomach pain, and had only a forehead gash and chin cut. Dr Behymer was alerted but he died before aid could arrive. Funeral Saturday at Union Cemetery. he left a wife and four children, with German friends from Cincinnati in attendance.
