OHP seeks leads in hit skip that killed Kimberly Roy
Ohio State Highway Patrol investigators pursue a hit-skip case after Kimberly J. Roy, 25, was found dead in a ditch on Ohio 28 east of Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Road. A damaged passenger side antenna was found near the body, but officials caution it may not be from the striking vehicle. Roy was believed to have been struck around 1:15 a.m. Her friend, who saw her walking earlier, reported the disappearance before Roy’s body was discovered at 7:42 a.m. Roy was taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital for an autopsy, and the trooper asks anyone with information or vehicle leads to call the Batavia Post at 732-1510.
