Balser Named Bethel Council Member in Local Move
Gary Balser 25 of 319 South Lane was named the newest Bethel council member to fill the term of Douglas. Balser also filed a petition for mayor as the term runs into November elections. He works at Nutone division of Scovill Inc Cincinnati. The council plans to study zoning changes to tighten classifications and appoint a planner with George Leicht advising. The finance committee will study a wage increase for council members and the mayor’s $1200 yearly pay.
