Proposed new bank for Georgetown to aid tobacco growers
A bank to be established in Georgetown to serve tobacco growers. The Equity jety board of control met last Saturday to organize the company. About 1,600,000 pounds of deposits have been pledged to finance pooled tobaccos. Members voted to subscribe stock and divide the capital as evenly as possible among members.

Golden Wedding Observed for 50 Years in Urbana
Friday last Mr and Mrs John Vance marked their semicentennial wedding in 1857 Springfield. Mrs Vance is Milton Miller's daughter and Admiral Miller's cousin. Mr Vance, 79, is the oldest M E Conference member with long district assignments. They have two sons William K Vance of Delaware College and F K Vance of a Norwood manufacturing firm. The couple reside in Urbana among many friends.

His Sisters Cash Box Arrest in Safety Deposit Theft
In Indianapolis F N Hoedin, agent for his sister widow of Charles Nold formerly Milford, is arrested in Wheeling on charges of removing cash and bonds from her safety deposit box and forgery. Mrs Nold and broker Charles Ashbrook press charges as about $60,000 in securities were stolen and some moved through a Cincinnati broker. Hoedin yielded to a warrant, was examined in Cincinnati and released on $1000 bond, with expected out of court settlement.
