A survey of agricultural bankers shows Midwest farmland values rising in early 1987. Ohio State University economists say lower interest rates fueled the gain and anticipate market stabilization as rates begin to rise later.
During an emergency session Commissioners Martha Dorsey and Jerry authorized a 1982 bond issue of 7.875 million dollars for a water system expansion. Funds cover a new well field addition, Pierce tanks, and intake at Harsha Lake. interest earlier ranged 10 to 15 percent. Clermont County plans a public meeting to discuss water main extensions on six inch to four inch mains along W Corner Road and Vera Lois Lane, 4,890 feet from Clearfield subdivision to Loveland City limits. City officials impose no parking on the south side of Old 32 from Afton Elk Creek Road west for 100 feet after receiving multiple citizen complaints.
