The Hulick-Weaver families held their ninth annual reunion at Mrs. Almira Hulick's country home on June 25 with over 150 attendees. The Monterey band provided music. a long lunch was served. attendees were photographed by Miss Kate Hulick and Miss Anna Ransom. Boats were launched on a lakeside, and the day closed with elections: President A Hulick, Vice President E R Duckwall, Secretary Mina Whitaker, Treasurer G Man. Theodore Pfeister, about 35, was taken to the Athens asylum yesterday by Sheriff Teal. His mind is unbalanced by overdrinking and his hobby of being a Pinkerton detective is cited as evidence of his insanity.
On Saturday in Moscow New Richm on defeated Moscow 9 to 5 with W B Irwin pitching for Moscow and Jones and Roberts catching for New Richm. Umpire was F J Moore. A return game is set for Thursday at New Richm as Moscow sharpens its celebrated pitcher. New Richm seeks more local games from county clubs.
The Brown district led in an 181 hids sale with varied prices from 80 to 28 for birds. Numerous lots ranged across 4 to 21 and higher figures, including 1814 and 184 prices. Several birds fetched the top end of the market.
