The Newtonsville 1.0. C. F. Lodge officers refuse installation amid Grand Master choices. Dr. Medaris and Dr. Holden dispute appointment and procedural acts. Grand Committee to meet July 30 with officers installed at other lodges, while Boston Lodge awaits further orders and maintains it will continue its work.
The Grand Valley Lodge No. 471 was moved from Camp Dennison to Loveland by Grand Lodge order on Wednesday July 2 with Grand Master present. A regular follification followed after opening. Two new members joined last Saturday. Next Saturday District Deputy Lee of Cincinnati will attend for instillation and unwritten work instruction. Officers elected include John Ringer N G and John Hathorn W G. The lodge meets Wednesdays after August 1 in Henrick's building, Loveland.
The Clermont County Teachers Institute invites all teachers to attend both weeks. Prof J W Mackinnon will speak on mathematics and U S history with a Tuesday lecture How Our Forefathers Lived during the first week. Col George W Bain will lecture Thursday on Boys and Girls Nice and Naughty. New Richmond citizens present a Friday night musical. July 27.

About twenty five relatives and friends gathered at J H Hartshorn’s Moscow home to celebrate his fifty fifth birthday with a dinner and gifts. A fine dinner was served and the host received several valuable presents. The annual camp meeting of the New Richmond and Laurel colored churches will be at Amelia beginning Saturday July 2 and continuing through Sunday July 41 led by B. W. Kiersey.
The outlaw Nelson, notorious for raiding farmers' meat houses within five to six miles of New Richmond, was arrested Friday night by Marshal Garrison. Tracking from Kentucky, Garrison closed in at Nelson’s home with firm resolve and two revolvers, bringing him to justice. Nelson faces transport to the penitentiary to resume life behind bars.
Clerk Shaw and Sheriff Lloyd selected a new special jury to report August 8, replacing members of the old panel who report August 3. The roster includes John K. William Marsh of Stonelick township died Monday night about 9 o clock at age eighty one. A lifelong Clermont county native, he married Lucinda Galbreath sixty years ago. Surviving are four daughters and seven sons with several grandchildren. Funeral at 7 am Wednesday, conducted by Rev. L C Deputy. he was a devoted M E Church member for 65 years.

In John Martin's barn youths attempted a dangerous stunt by twisting heels around necks. The hired girl, watching through a crack, disappeared later that evening and was found in the milk house with heels tightly twisted. She survived after rescue but said she would have died rather than call for help.
