He was widowed to Rhoda Bannister. Funeral held yesterday afternoon at Franklin.

artist Joseph Bailey dies after decades at Rockwood pottery
Intelligence reports the death of Joseph Bailey long time superintendent at Rockwood pottery in Cincinnati. Born in England he learned the trade and became a renowned designer and craftsman. He married Henrietta Burnstall in 1848 the first couple wed in a Methodist church in England. He served in company B 139th Ohio during the Civil War and leaves a widow and two sons Rev W H Bailey and Edwin H Bailey.
