George Zurmuhle born September 11 1860 in Batavia died Monday after Brights disease at Batavia aged 23 or 24 or so this line uncertain. He trained as a carriage trimmer in Stirling Moore shops then joined Pohlman Company and later partnered with Walter Burrows in New Richmond carriage business which prospered. He was unmarried leaving father one brother and three sisters. Funeral Thursday at Presbyterian church Batavia with Rev Parks and Rev Bell. Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias to conduct service.
