Wild dog gang broken up in Fayette County hunt
Hunters surrounded the Bryant farm woods six miles east of Washington D. H. on Waterloo pike to kill a wild dog gang terrorizing farms. A leader white dog was shot after hours of pursuit. the pack was dispersed, giving farmers relief and children safer on the way to school.

Oranges From Felix Motsinger's Grave Delight Courier Staff
The Courier staff received a generous basket of oranges from the grave of Felix Motsinger's nephew J. R. Woodlief. A specimen measured one foot one inch in circumference and five inches in diameter. A smaller variety called the kid gloves orange is easily opened with a gloved hand. The entire force enjoyed the treat.

Miss Lovey Ann Ranson sister of Joseph Ranson died suddenly at her Batavia area home on Saturday evening. A devout Christian and kind neighbor she had worked until about four o clock, fell ill, and died before sundown aged about 52. Burial took place yesterday at 10 o clock.
