County to Boost Juvenile Programs With 66000 More Aid
Clermont County officials on Thursday May 30 approved adding 66000 to juvenile programs. The Youth Services Advisory Board will have seven members including Patier and Mary Reins with Chuck Thomas as financial officer. Original operating budget was 91000 and several projects received state funds in June. The Employment Services Project holds 34426, Probation 14795.38, and psychological evaluations for problem juveniles total 13855.03 with new projects added to the youth set.

Five more arrested in October drug roundup cases
Courier staff report that harsh sentences are being handed down to those convicted on drug charges from a Cler mont County bust in October. Fifty five individuals were indicted in 89 sealed indictments. Robert Evans said Richard Heskett received five to twenty five years for trafficking. More convictions are expected as the roundup continues this month.
