Girls Injured In Fayetteville Crash
Rose Ann Maher and Carol Kretchmar, both teens from Ohio, were injured Sunday when their car ran off the road near Fayetteville. Maher suffered leg bruises and Kretchmar head injuries. both were treated at Hillsboro Community Hospital. Gus Sett, also in the car, was uninjured.

A Batavia county jury acquitted Walter Hoch owner of the Log Cabin Inn New Richmond of contributing to juvenile delinquency by selling beer to a minor. The incident stemmed from a 16 year old boy's arrest December 21 by New Richmond Police Chief Charles Spaulding. waitress Marie Karnes pleaded guilty and was fined.
