Pleasant Reception At Loveland High For Sophomores
Miss Georgia Thompson, principal of Loveland high schools, hosted a reception for sophomores and freshmen last Saturday evening. The sitting room and parlor were pink and heart themed, with the dining room decorated charmingly. Twenty seven students and teachers Prof Morris and Miss Goode attended, playing indoor games and enjoying luncheon. Partners were chosen by shooting at heart targets with arrows, and heart favors decorated the room. Miss Thompson is well known among Clermont teachers and educational circles.

Judgment Awarded for Miss Whalen in King's Mills Explosion
Jury in Lebanon awards Miss Lillian Whalen eight thousand five hundred dollars for injuries from the Peters Cartridge Company explosion in the King’s Mills factory on March 9 1906. She lost an eye and suffered severe disfigurement with lost fingers and facial scars, suing for fifty thousand dollars.
