Miss Mitchell Wins Suit Over School Fees in Owensville
Miss Mary Mitchell of Owensville won a verdict for 80.18 dollars in a case against the local school board. She claimed six weeks pay as teacher of district No. 9 from September 5, 1892, to May 1898 and janitor fees for nine months in 1890-91, with the school closed by the board in April 1883 for low attendance.
