Sad Affair at Moscow Leaves Son Injured in Scuffle

Frank Cushard a Moscow blacksmith returning home intoxicated got into a family disturbance. His eighteen year old son Johnnie was cut in the face during the scuffle. Cushard was arrested and bound over to the grand jury by Squire Ackley in 250 dollars. Cushard says the cut was in self defence.

Washington Creamery Expands Output and Routes

A rival to Milford Creamery, the Washington Creamery now operates three to four days weekly producing about 1800 pounds of butter each week. New Sabina routes have been added, with 600 more cans to be produced in spring. As spring dawns and cream grows plentiful, butter production will reach daily. Davis and Rankin of Chicago, who installed the creamery here, are building over forty creameries in the state, including Greenfield Chillicothe Circleville Mt. Sterling and Jamestown.

Philip Wood to move to Robert Wood farm near the old diggings. Mrs. Jennie Lancaster visits Afton from Mt Oreb and plans to move to Texas.
