County Board Meets Delays Transfers and Sets Institute
The Clermont county board of education met in Batavia with full attendance led by Supt Aultman. Transfers in Jackson Stonelick and Williamsburg were deferred 80 days except Maham cases moved from Owensville to Batavia township. A one week teachers institute will be held later. corn testing shows 63 percent sprout rate with Titus at 98 percent. National Week of Song runs February 18 to 22 with patriotic songs in schools nationwide.

Red Cross report on Clermont County shipments
The Clermont County Red Cross Chapter sent another hospital supply shipment to headquarters this week. Weather slowed some auxiliaries but the overall effort remained strong with numerous hospital shirts muslin bandages handkerchiefs bandages and gauze items collected from Tate Franklin Jackson Washington Union Williamsburg Amelia Katavia and Olive Branch areas. A further shipment is planned for the first of March.

The Miami Township Farmers Institute Milford Ohio will not meet on Monday February 18 due to Fuel Administrator orders. The one day session Tuesday February 19 in the Family Theater will feature Geo S Fry and Mrs Marie Thomas with talks on orchard profitability live stock foods and canning. Aiming for a large attendance, especially among farmers, with no night session.

McKever accompanied them, visit with Mrs. E B Rush, then headed to the city. Foster teaches in Clermont. Frazier works for Ohio Chair Company.
