Lenten study on nuclear arms race at Summerside church

A Lenten study on the nuclear arms race will be held February 23 at 7 30 p m at Summerside United Methodist Church Old SR 74 and SR 32 Clermont County. Organizers Timothy s Cherry Grove and Lord of Peace invite participation to explore how Christian faith informs views on arms, U S security strategies and related topics. The session costs 3 for the study guide.

Winter campout at East Fork Park

East Fork State Park hosts the second annual winter campout from February 12 to 13 with a Friday night campfire at 8 30 p m at the amphitheater. Saturday features snow sculpturing fire building outdoor cooking and exhibitions followed by an ice fishing contest and venison roast. Camping fees include five dollars per day per site with camping options available.

Knothole Registration Slated In Batavia February 20 and 27

Batavia Community Recreation League announces knothole T ball and girls and boys softball registration on February 20 and 27 from noon to 4 PM at the Batavia community room located at 389 East Main Street. The event aims to organize teams for youth baseball and softball through the local program.
