LAW MEN AND OFFICIALS HONORED IN TOWN QUARTET

Law men from several counties and states honored retiring Chief Deputy Clarence Penn and retiring court clerk Jean Corbin at Clermont. The event featured a surprise departure ceremony, a buffet and gifts, and a brief arrest prank by boss Russell Simmons with Sheriff John Van Camp. Clermont County Board of Education named 1987 leaders on January 21. A fundraising dance for CCARC activities will be held at Williamsville Park on February 13 7 to 10 p.m. RSVP by February 9.
