The Courier announces its twenty third annual First Baby Contest for Cler mont parents in 1970. Parents must notify The Courier by noon January 5 1970 with the baby’s name address and related details. if no birth occurs by the deadline the contest continues until a birth is reported. Merchants will offer gifts and The Courier limits responsibility for reporting failures.
MT CARMEL By an unani mous vote the Union Township Zoning Appeals denied the appeal of Vector to reduce floor space. The smaller size was argued to allow construction of town houses and conventional apartments. Representatives included John Doepke Sam Disney Rocco Spinelli B N West and Peter Hecktor.
