Steve Krouse of New Richmond is wounded after he confronted Mrs. Donley’s husband with a blade. Donley responded with three knife wounds in a struggle that left Krause badly injured. doctors fear the wounds may prove fatal with no arrests reported.
The Cincinnati Record, a new daily started last week, lived six days before a receiver took control on the seventh. The paper’s collapse is blamed on being overlaid by larger city dailies and described as a case of infanticide on paper.

Tom Frazer of Lebanon, once a bar keeper for Nate Woods, confessed under belief he was guilty after hearing of a Cincinnati diamond robbery. He was restrained and returned home. Cincinnati park policeman Welton confessed to murder to save friends, but authorities doubt the truth and will proceed to trial. Attorney Cabell represents Muldoon Farrel and Welton.

Mrs. A L Clark widow of A L Clark school examiner died at her father's Rural home on Thursday December 8 age 28. Daughter of Asa Woodmaneee she leaves no children. Burial was held Friday afternoon at Chile cemetery.

Survived by five grown children, he was a longtime Mason with Williamsburg lodge and a respected county farmer.
The Duckwall farm of about 200 acres in Clermont county was sold last Saturday noon by P J Nichols as assignee. The four tracts totaled 186 acres appraised at 70 25 90 and 110 dollars and averaged about 47 per acre, selling to Frank Roudebush of the locality.
