The Cincinnati Fire Museum displays a century of fire toys and metal pieces from firms such as Ahrens-Fox Hubley Tonka and Doepre Co. Highlights include rubber 1930s vehicles featuring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and a hand built 19th century hose cart. The exhibit runs Dec 6 through Feb 26 with hours Mon-Fri 10 am to 4 pm and weekend noon to 4 pm. At least five private collections and Central Mutual Insurance Co. contribute pieces.
