Eleven men were inducted yesterday and 35 pre inductees were examined Monday. The county's December draft quota was met by yesterday's inductions. Two Men Sentenced For Non-Support In Batavia
A Batavia jury found John Carter Sr. guilty of non support of his four children and Judge Harry Britton sentenced him to one to three years in state prison. Ralph Monjar also received a one to three year term after retracting a guilty plea. Earl Parks of Olive Branch Road was fined $200 for stealing a dog and given a 30 day suspended sentence.

County Budget Commission considers funding county library from intangible tax
County auditor Earl B. Kincaid says the budget commission will ask Clermont County commissioners and village councils to commit all or part of classified intangible tax income to a county library. In 1951 intangible tax revenue totaled 71 000 dollars and 1952 is expected near that. The library trustees asked for 46 800 dollars from intangibles. villages and unincorporated areas shared last year 43 000 and 28 000 dollars respectively.

Health Board Must Reply Saturday to Rumpke Dump Suit
The Board of Health faces a Saturday deadline to respond to an injunctive suit from Mr and Mrs Claude Jackson over a Rumpke Road dump near Glen Este deemed a nuisance. Judge Britton said hearings may be requested and a third judge could be appointed if needed. The Health Board had ordered the Jacksons to close the dump by November 10 after local protests and Mayor Paschal issued a warrant for Jackson in a postpone hearing.
