Goshen Board Silent On Bus Route Reductions

At a Nov. 22 Goshen Board of Education meeting no decision was reached on reducing bus routes and driver hours. Superintendent William Russell said the grievance is confidential and discussed in executive session. The new routing cut routes from three to two per driver and reduced hours, with the board to contact the Ohio Association of Public School Employees within 10 days. Betty Stritt was hired part time effective Nov. 23 for remedial reading, and Scott Mohler and Ken Funk were hired as substitute drivers. The next board meeting is Dec. 13.
