Judge Hulick was bypassed and E B Holmes backed but declined.

Special to the Commercial Gazette: John Cross Jr a Pierce township farmer near Locust Corner fifteen miles from Cincinnati was arrested on a Governor’s requisition from Arkansas for netting fish without a license. He paid $90 to the sheriff as annual non resident license but was indicted and sent to Clarington awaiting further proceedings.
